Hi friends,

Greetings from the hive!

I hope you're doing well and are healthy! I'm almost over this bad cold that the entire family caught.

In other news:

  • I've been using the new Raycast Beta. My first impression is that it's an even more streamlined and polished product. Especially the Settings menu got a huge revamp. Additionally, they made GPT-5.4 mini the default AI model, and wow, it's fast.

  • Behind the scenes, I've been honing and refining my personal website and landed on a better way to describe what I do: I build the product behind the product β€” the post-sales systems around customer intent.

Let's take this week by swarm!

🐝 The Bee's Knees

  • Agentic Coding is a Trap. The "AI codes, human orchestrates" hype misses the point: real engineering is about system design, reasoning through failures, and making decisions under ambiguityβ€”skills AI can't replace and the agentic era needs more than ever. MORE

  • The Feed Is Fake. That viral song, movie, or meme clogging your timeline was probably manufactured by companies running up to 65,000 dummy social media accounts. Everything from Justin Bieber's Coachella sets to indie bands to political campaigns now relies on "clipping" to simulate popularity and trick algorithms into making things trend. MORE

  • AI Is Exposing Two Decades of Checkbox Security. When AI makes security verification radically cheaper, the economic arbitrage between appearing secure and actually being secure collapses. Paper pentests, compliance theater, and audit checkboxes that never got fixed are about to face a reckoning. MORE

  • I Was Laid Off by Atlassian. A candid walkthrough of the Atlassian interview process, the work of building an Open Service Broker, and what happens after the layoff email arrives. MORE

  • Bug Bounty Platforms Are Drowning in AI Slop. Top researchers say their critical PII-leak reports now face 12-day delays before a human even looks at them, buried under waves of AI-generated noise. The platforms that were supposed to be hacker-first have become triage queues where signal can't compete with volume. MORE

When the customer-facing experience gets noisy, trust breaks fast.

I do CX Audits from the customer POV to find where onboarding, docs, self-service, AI answers, support, and escalation are creating friction.

If customers are getting stuck, I help map why.
